Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need the book to use the site?
No, but the site is built to go with it. The plan, chapters and worked questions follow the book chapter by chapter. If you do not have the book, the 3-month pass includes the eBook of both volumes, or you can buy each volume as an eBook for £14.99.
Which courses and exam boards does it cover?
A level Chemistry for AQA (7405) and Edexcel (9CH0), and GCSE Chemistry for AQA (8462) and Edexcel (1CH0), including the chemistry in Combined Science. You choose your course and board when you join, and you can change it at any time.
What do I get for free?
Extra fully worked questions for every chapter, the first notes section of every chapter, and a preview of Week 1 of the 13-week plan. You do not need a card to join.
What does Premium add?
The full day-by-day 13-week plan, with reviews that schedule themselves 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days after each chapter. You also get all the notes and recall cards, video walkthroughs and timed mock papers with a mark breakdown.
Should I choose monthly or the 3-month pass?
Premium monthly is £14.99 a month and you can cancel at any time, which suits a shorter run-up or trying Premium first. The 3-month pass is £34.99 once, covers the whole 13-week plan, does not renew and includes the eBooks of both volumes. Compared with three monthly payments and buying the eBooks separately, it saves £39.96.
How do I cancel?
Go to Account › Subscriptions and cancel. You will not be charged again, and you keep Premium until the end of the month you have paid for. The 3-month pass does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If you are unhappy, email us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund, as long as you have not downloaded the eBooks. See our terms for the details.
I am starting late. Is it still worth it?
Yes. Set your start date and work through the plan at the pace you have time for. Premium monthly is a good fit if your exams are less than three months away.
Can my parent see my progress or pay for Premium?
Yes. A parent can create a free parent account. Once you link it from Account › Parents, they can see your plan days, streak, chapter sections and mock marks, but not your answers. They can also pay for Premium from their own account, and each further child gets 10% off. You can stop sharing at any time.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The site works on phones, tablets and laptops, and your progress is saved to your account, so you can switch between devices.
Are the questions from past papers?
No. Every question is original and written in the style of the exam. Chemistry Revision is an independent resource and is not endorsed by or affiliated with AQA or Pearson Edexcel.
